Summer '09

This summer is proving to be VERY busy! We've had a lot going on - with racing and activities for the kids, plus lots of time hanging out with our friends. Last week, all 3 kids attended a week of Vacation Bible School (VBS). The theme was Crocodile Dock. They absolutely LOVED it - and mommy got a little mini-vacation with no kids from 9-12 for the week. =)

They loved every minute of VBS - especially all the songs they learned. We bought the CD, and it's all they want to listen to in the car. Izzy has it completely memorized, and Emily knows all the motions for singing and dancing to the songs.

Last week was the North Attleboro Block Party. We went downtown to check out the food vendors, music and activities. Ended the night with snow-cones for the kids.

Mmmm... yummy. =)

We also travelled out to Watkins Glen raceway in NY (a 7 hour drive each way). It was a long haul, but worth it. Steve said it's probably the most demanding track he's ever raced. Since it was his first time there, he was very pleased with 8th and 7th place finishes (out of 13 cars.) He was running in 5th before he spun. Oh well - that's racing.

Zach got into skateboarding with Josh and Jacob over the weekend. They played with them for hours!
