Loon Mountain - Part 1

Last week we were up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire for our annual vacation with Steve's parents. Melissa went up on Mon with the kids, and Steve joined us Wed night. We had a blast - as always.

Walking back from dinner downtown one night, Steve had the kids "looking for bears."

Then he pretended to be a bear... catching them all off guard and scaring them. =)

Izzy got scared the most.

Daddy and son hanging out.

Swimming in the pool.

One day we went to Clark's Trading Post - where we watched the bear show.

The rode the train to find the Wolfman.

Another day was spent at the Polar Caves. Emily was so excited to see "her bear" when we pulled up! =)

Feeding the animals first.

Then came the climbing in and out of the caves. Grandma and Grandpa joined us for a few of the caves.

It was a tighter squeeze for the adults then the kids.
They loved climbing on all the rocks.

Zach was the best. I called him my little mountain goat - he just kept saying "I'm a climber!" It was probably best I couldn't see him jumping down all the rocks and thru the caves (I was busy helping the girls, who were more careful.) He would race thru, and I'd have to keep yelling at him to wait for us!
