Izzy's Mother's Day Brunch

Today, Little Blessings hosted a Mother's Day Brunch for the mom's of all the kids. We met in their classrooms where they sang us a song and gave us our gifts. Then we were taken to the gym where our "brunch" was waiting for us - garden salad and fruit salad - that the kids had made for us to eat, along with bread and rolls.

Waiting to give out the gifts.

At our brunch table!

With the flowers and pin that were made for me by Izzy.

The moms were not allowed to leave our seats - the children had to serve us our food and get us whatever we needed.

Our good friends (both Izzy and mine), Mason and his mom Kerri.

More good friends - also our carpool buddies - Cindy and Danny.

Danny sure did love that ranch dressing! =)

Our gifts (I don't know why this picture got flipped.) A "cookbook" from all the kids, flowers, pin and the hand-print picture.

The cookbook is PRICELESS! There's a note in the front from our child, another page where they drew our picture, and then this page tells what Izzy thinks about her mom!

The rest of the book is recipies from the kids. They were HILARIOUS! Here's a few to give a sample. All of us moms could not stop laughing! Izzy's recipie: (By the way, I'm sure she meant "ramen" noodles, not "rabbit" noodles, but I guess her teachers couldn't tell the difference and she just went along with it!)

I love this one... "Go to the store, pick out a cake, pay for it..."

Such a boy... "I have no idea..."

And lastly... "lay on the couch."

This is just one more reason why we are BEYOND thrilled with Little Blessings Preschool. I cannot say enough about the school and teachers. Programs like this are priceless. This cookbook will be kept, and maybe shared on a wedding day. =)
