4th of July

We spent the 4th of July at the Beach House with a whole boat load of Intrones, friends and family. Here are 4 generations of Intrones together.

Melissa's parents joined in the party as well.

Grandpa Wiens and Zach.

Grandma Introne with Zach.

Grandpa Introne with Izzy. (She doesn't like the loud noises of the fireworks.)

Emily posing for the camera.

Mommy and Emily.

Daddy with his cheesy smile! =)

Isabelle sitting in the neighbor's garden.

Izzy playing catch with her 2nd cousins (I believe).

Watching for cars with her purse.

Watching the fireworks.

Uncle Douglas doing his best to scare the babies. (But Emily just laughs.)

Cabo San Lucas - 2nd Honeymoon

Steve and I just got back from a week in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico - ALONE! My parents kept all 3 kids for the 7 nights, so we had a sort of 2nd honeymoon (Cabo was where we went on our actual honeymoon 8 years ago!) We decided we loved it so much, we bought a timeshare there, so we'll be back every year.

One thing we wanted to try this time was deep-sea fishing. We set out at 6:30am with the goal to catch marlin. What a gorgeous sunrise!

No marlin that day, but we did end up with 2 small yellow-fin tuna. We were out 5 hours, almost 30 miles from shore before we got our first bites. Both fish were hooked at the same time and reeled in in under 10 minutes. These were our only catches for the day, but it was still fun.

This was Steve's fish that he caught.

And this was mine!

Our captain let me drive the boat back to the marina when we finally called it a day.

While we were out, we saw TONS of dolphins. They were EVERYWHERE.

This is the Cabo San Lucas marina.

More Father's Day pictures

Here's some more Father's Day pictures. Daddy with his 3 munchkins.

The BOYS - 3 generations of Introne men.

The GIRLS - Emily is sound asleep, we tried for 10 minutes to wake her with no luck. So ironic since she's the one that is ALWAYS awake and wanting to be a part of everything and not miss out. Guess the day just completely wore her out.

Since I'm always behind the camera, we actually got a few shots of me with the kids.

Happy Father's Day

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!
Here's a couple pics I took of the kids in their Red Sox outfits for Father's Day cards. (The first one is the one I used.)

Walking

Emily is still just 9 months old, but last week she figured out how to pull herself up into a standing position, and this week is cruising along the fireplace and couches. She's going to be walking before Zach even learns to crawl!

As for this guy - he's content to just log roll everywhere he needs to go. No crawling, no pushing/pulling with his arms and legs - he just rolls everywhere.

Kids

I don't know if Emily is trying to be like Izzy, or Izzy's trying to be like Emily. Either way, the sisters had a lot of fun crawling around and playing UNDER the exersaucers one night.

Zach's first war-wound. He did something Izzy didn't like (I think he took her paci) so she retaliated by biting him. Yep - that's a perfect dental impression of all her teeth on his arm. It won her a spanking, but tough guy that Zach is, he didn't even cry when it happened.

Playdo is FUN!

Today we were playing with playdo while the babies were napping and made figurines of Grandma and Grandap!

What do you think? Do they look like grandma and grandpa?

Then we decided to make jewelry. We had a necklace, earings, bracelet and a ring - does't she look goregous!

Ok, this is scary, but doesn't she look just like Hilary Clinton in this picture? The hair, the pose, the playdo jewelry, the stoic expression.... please don't let my little girl grow up to be a liberal activitist!?!? =)
