My life-long best friends (Betsy, Tricia and Jenny) met in LA this weekend. We get together somewhere every 1-2 years - since we live all over the country (CA, OR, AK and MA.) We've all known each other since we were 5-6 years old! It was a great weekend to just hang out, catch up, do nothing but lay by the pool, shop and lazily take our time at restaurants.

Ahhh.... with 10 kids between us all, it was so nice to just sit by the pool and not have to worry or watch any kiddos.
Since my grandparents live in S. California, I made a quick stop to see them. This is my mom's parents - Ruth and Don Young.
