Can you believe my babies have started school? Today Zach and Emily went to their first day of 3-year-old preschool. They were VERY excited. It was so much fun that they got to stay and go to school instead of just dropping off Izzy. They did excellent, according to their teacher - and of course, mommy is enjoying her mornings with no kids now!
Big Sister Izzy showing Zach into his classroom (which was her classroom last year.)
She found her name to sit on the floor.

Steve Wins NERRC Championship
STEVE WINS HIS FIRST REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!
Last weekend, Steve clinched his first NERRC (New England Road Racing Championship). After 8 years of road racing, he's done it! The weekend was a big success itself - he set the pole for Saturday's race, then finished 2nd. He also took 2nd place in Sunday's race as well. We couldn't be more proud of him.

Izzy's First Day of School
Today was Izzy's first day of school. She's in a 4/5 y.o. split Pre-K/K combined class. It's a big change for her, going 5 days a week now. But I think she's really going to enjoy it and learn a lot.
These pictures were all taken after school. At drop-off, she wasn't a happy camper. I've been gone for the last 5 days, so I think she really wanted to hang out with me this morning, rather then go to school. But she obviously had a good time, just look at how she's beaming when I showed up to get her!
What a poser...
Wow... she looks so grown up to me in this pic!

L.A. Girls Weekend
My life-long best friends (Betsy, Tricia and Jenny) met in LA this weekend. We get together somewhere every 1-2 years - since we live all over the country (CA, OR, AK and MA.) We've all known each other since we were 5-6 years old! It was a great weekend to just hang out, catch up, do nothing but lay by the pool, shop and lazily take our time at restaurants.
