Cabo San Lucas - 2009 (Part 1)

We spent 8 days last week in Cabo San Lucas. It was an AMAZING vacation, and we had a wonderful time. The kids LOVED all the pool time, the ocean, and everything else we saw and did. We couldn't have asked for better weather - high 80's during the day, low 70's at night. Steve and I slept with our balcony door open each night falling asleep to the waves crashing on the beach.

This was our first stay at Playa Grande since we bought our timeshare there 2 years ago. We couldn't have been more pleased with the resort. It exceeded all our expectations. Well worth every penny we spent. The plan when we bought was to go every other year, but we enjoyed ourselves so much, we're seriously considering not waiting and going again next year.

Steve's parents own 4 weeks of timeshares at the resort - which is one reason we bought as well... Grandma and Grandpa will always be there too. They go down for 2 weeks in April and 2 weeks in October every year. We're already trying to convince Melissa's parents to join us in 2010 or 2011.

This was the view from our balcony. Priceless!

Our resort.

Hanging on the balcony with the kids - watching all the action down at the pools.

Steve called him "Elton John."

Daddy sharing his "drink" with Emily.
Izzy and Zach hanging with Grandpa in the pool.

After dinner one night, the girls got up on their own and started dancing in the middle of the restaurant. Too cute!

Grandma HATED this picture. She tried to delete it from my camera, but I lied and told her my camera didn't have a delete button. She swore to disown me if I sent it out... oh well, guess I'm disowned! =)

Izzy spent 6-7 HOURS a day in the pool. We couldn't get her out. She loved it. She was sunburned and beyond prunish by the end of every day. Here we got her out for a few minutes to scarf down some food.

Our little corner by the pool where we hung out. The resort has 4 pools in the main section, and 3 pools up on the new "Ridge" section of the resort.

Steve and Melissa.

A little present our maid left in the room for the kids!
