Red Sox!
Last night Zach and Emily made their inaugural trip to Fenway Park! Our indoctrination to the Fenway Faithful and a lifetime of rooting for the Red Sox has begun. =) This was Izzy's 3rd trip to see the Red Sox. She got to go last year by herself. Her first trip was at age 9 months, so she probably doesn't remember that.

Zach and Emily's 4th Birthday Party (Part 1)
Yesterday we celebrated Zach and Emily's 4th Birthday with a pool party/BBQ in the backyard. We were blessed with GORGEOUS weather, lots of good friends and everyone had a ton of fun.

Zach's Hard Lesson
Zach just learned the centuries old lesson about not touching a hot stove. Tues afternoon as I was cooking lunch, he just reaches up and touches the burner. He earned himself 2nd degree burns on the tips of 2 of his fingers.
His index finger has bounced back really quickly. But the middle finger is a sight to be seen! This blister has doubled in size in the last day. And it's SOLID!
Hopefully the lesson has made it's way into the heads of both his sisters as well. =)

Little Swimmers
The kids have really taken off this year in the pool with their swimming. Izzy and Zach especially have grown leaps and bounds! Last year, Zach was vice-gripped around my neck whenever he was in the water - now look at him. And Izzy... she's swimming all on her own!
