Izzy's 5th Birthday Party

HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY IZZY!

She had her party at Plaster Plus - all the kids got to pick their own plaster piece and paint it. We had 16 kids painting and making a mess that someone else got to clean up. Perfect!

Working on her masterpiece!

Playing games - while the works of art were fired and dried - the kids played duck-duck-goose, freeze dance, and hot potato.

Time for cake! (Side note: Izzy was upset when she first saw the cake because she thought they spelled her name wrong - she didn't know those were cursive z's!)

"Happy birthday to Izzy...."

Yummy cake.
Colin.

Madison and Jessica.

Steve specifically requested a "man-size" piece of cake.

Grandma and Grandpa Introne.

How Grandpa kept himself entertained. =)

Back home to open presents - go to town!

So happy! Now... what's in the box?

Lots of princess dress-up clothes! (I love this picture of my girls. Too cute!)

Princess Emily.

Super-star Hannah-Izzy!

Zach wouldn't be left out of the fun (much to Daddy's dismay!)

"Look at my fairy wings, mom!"

Halloween

Our 3 little tigers on Halloween. (And no - as one person asked us, we are NOT Cincinatti Bengals fans!)

ROAR!

Carving pumpkins.

Hard work.

The finished jack-o-lanterns.

Proud of their work.

Heading out to get candy.

Grandma's halloween trick - the broom is standing up all by itself. She tried it because she heard that on this day, the earth/moon/sun are in alignment and gravity intensifies to make the broom stand up. One of my science friends claims that's complete non-sense and it's just good balancing. Who knows. The broom stayed like this all day, fell the next day and we couldn't get it to do it again. Either way - it was fun.

Phantom Farms and Farm Day

Two weeks ago, Izzy's class had a field trip to Phantom Farms - an apple orchard. Here's her class.

Riding with mommy behind the tractor to see the apple orchards.

Learning how they press the apples to make cider.

The farm cat.

Playing in the maze.

Last week was Farm Day at school. Zach & Emily enjoyed all the activities on Thursday and Izzy got her turn on Friday. (Yes, Mommy gets to do everything twice this year!)
Here's Z&E's class.

Milking the cow.
Ride 'em cowboy!

Playing with the ducks.

His first pony ride!

Emily's turn!

Face painting. She picked a dinosaur - again. What she always asks for!

Zach went for a baseball - no big surprise there!

Driving the tractor!

Wagon rides.

Decorating pumpkins.

Petting the pig.

A little time on the swings.

Taking a swing an the pinata.

Izzy's turn at Farm Day. She loved riding the pony too!

She stayed in the animal pens almost the whole time!

Red-eyed bunnies.

Visiting the black pig on Izzy's day.

Goats.

Izzy picked a ladybug to have on her face.

Everybody in!
