Great-Grandma

We took the kids to go visit Steve's grandmother today. He health is starting to fail, so it was nice to get a chance to visit her. She's Izzy's namesake, so she and Izzy have always had a special bond. Eva Margaret and Eva Isabelle ~ 90 years apart in age.

Zach's First Trophy

Yes... he's sleeping with his trophy. This is his first trophy that he got yesterday from the basketball league he just finished. I've never seen him prouder. He carried it around all day, and then obviously, kept it close last night while he slept. =)

Proof about Emily

I always knew Emily's brain didn't work quite the same as the others... now I have proof. (Labeling the doll's head aside...) What other 4 year old writes their name in it's mirror image?

Snow days

Last report I read, we've gotten over 50" of snow in the last month! The kids haven't had a full week of school since they got back from Christmas because of snow days. Being we live in Massachusetts, snow isn't abnormal for us... but these amounts, combined with frigid -20 degree temps on some days, are making it difficult. We're running out of places to put snow! As you can see in this picture, snow piles are now blocking our windows. =)
