Oh boy!

Zach is such a boy. Today, he built his "gun" completely by himself. IMHO, it's actually pretty good. Handle, trigger, stock and barrell... he's even pretending to look down the sights as he shoots. Ahh... the joys of having a boy.

Z&E's Science Fair

Zach and Emily had their science fair on Friday, to wrap up a month learning about science at school. There were experiments and all sorts of things to feel, touch, listen, and see. It was actually pretty cool!

Wood block race! Which texture would the block slide fastest down - non-slip matting, rubber, sandpaper, or wood? Of course the boys (and Zach!) loved it!

Just one of the tables to explore. There were 6 different table/stations.

The big FINALE! The kids built paper mache volcanos and then got to watch them erupt at the end of the science fair.

Their Father's Children

Spent the afternoon racing around the homemade "racetrack" in the driveway. They are their father's children. =)

Great-Grandma

We took the kids to go visit Steve's grandmother today. He health is starting to fail, so it was nice to get a chance to visit her. She's Izzy's namesake, so she and Izzy have always had a special bond. Eva Margaret and Eva Isabelle ~ 90 years apart in age.

Zach's First Trophy

Yes... he's sleeping with his trophy. This is his first trophy that he got yesterday from the basketball league he just finished. I've never seen him prouder. He carried it around all day, and then obviously, kept it close last night while he slept. =)
