Grandpa taught the kids how to hammer real nails into wood today. Zach LOVED it! And he caught on pretty quickly too. Time to put the boy to work framing our basement. =)

Teddy Bear Picnic
The Plainville Library had their annual Teddy Bear Picnic today - so a group of us all went together. Kids were to bring their favorite stuffed animal and lunch, then we sang songs, ran around and played. It was so much fun! The lady who led the singing was great! Here's our group.
Z&E took front row spots when the singing started.
Zach - wrong way! Guess the moms were more interesting! =)

See You Later, Alligator
Izzy's last day of school was on Thursday. Since the 3-year old class doesn't "graduate" they instead have a "See You Later, Alligator" program till everyone returns in the fall. Here's all the kids doing their performance for the parents.
Our little alligator!
There was cake and punch for all the families afterwards - giving the kids one last chance to play with their friends.

New Kitchen Table
Since we said good-bye to the high chairs, we needed a new kitchen table that could seat all 5 of us. Here's what just got delivered today. It seems BIG, but I guess that was the point, right - to have a bigger table. =) Sadly, it's time to say farewell to the kitchen table Steve and I bought right after we got married. It lasted us 10 years - if you can believe it.

Izzy's Last School Field Trip
Izzy had her last field trip of the year yesterday to the Capron Park Zoo. The kids were all given bingo sheets with animal pictures and had to put stickers on each animal they found in the zoo. They had a lot of fun running around finding the animals.
